Arsenal midfielder Thomas Tei Partey is set to join Barcelona in the summer. The midfielder who will become a free agent in the summer has been identified as replacement for Frenkie De Jong.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have agreed to move on from Frenkie De Jong hence there will no talks of contract renewal. His exit will reduce the wage bill, this will give the club more financial flexibility.
With Arsenal holding back in renewing Partey’s contract, his exit is imminent. The Ghanaian had made 17 appearances in the 2024/2025 Premier League scoring 2 goals.
