According to a grapevine source, the GFA is finalizing plans to announce a new Black Stars Management  Team comprising of Stephen Appiah, Dr. Nsenkyire, Samuel Aboabire and Dr. Randy Abbey.

Stephen Appiah remains the only former player on the committee. The rest who predominantly are football administrators with enormous experience.

The GFA is reportedly considering appointing a technical director to support Black Stars head coach Otto Addo. The aim is to bolster the team’s preparations for the resumption of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Following Ghana’s poor performance in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Black Star are poised to bounce back with strong performances in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Chad and Madagascar, scheduled for March this year.
