Sports Minister Kofi Adams Holds Meeting With GFA

The Minister of Sports and Recreation Hon. Kofi Adams held a meeting with the Ghana Football Association after officially assuming the role.

In his bid to revamp Ghana football step, the Minister met with officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday, February 10.

The delicate meeting comes after President John Dramani Mahama admonished the Minister to commence reforming sports in Ghana by engaging with the Ghana FA and other stake holders.

“I expect that you concentrate on building up all the sporting disciplines. I know the Ghana Football Association would be a good place to start to make sure that we return the Black Stars to their glory days,” President Mahama stated after swearing in the new Sports Minister.

Sports Minister Kofi Adams is expected to engage other stakeholders as part of efforts to improve sports in the country.
