OFFICIAL: Nora Häuptle leaves as Black Queens head coach after contract expiration

Nora Häuptle has left his role as head coach of the Black following the expiration of her contract .

Häuptle decided  not to renew her contract with the GFA. Her contract expired on December 31, 2024.

During her tenure, Häuptle qualified the Black Queens for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament which is scheduled to be hosted in Morocco later this year.

She missed out on qualifying the Queens for the Olympics Games after losing to Zambia’s Cooper Queens.

Nora Häuptle is expected to be appointed as the head coach for Zambia’s Cooper Queens. She is expected to sign a two-year deal with a monthly salary of $7,000.

Her appointment was approved by the Executive Committee of the Zambia FA on 21 December. Meanwhile, the Ghana FA are on the market searching for a replacement for Nora Häuptle for the 2025 WAFCON.
