Mohammed Kudus scored a header  to salvage a valuable point for West Ham United in their game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Ghana international headed home after Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen parried a ferocious strike from Jarrod Bowen into Kudus’ path.

The visitors had opened the scoring six minutes after the break through Matts Wieffer, who took advantage of a poor clearance from West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Kudus enjoyed a good game, starring from the left before eventually switching to the right, where he was menacing for Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan.

Meanwhile, compatriot Tariq Lamptey was introduced into the game for Brighton in the 68th minute, replacing Joel Veltmann.

Kudus has three goals in the 2024/2025 Premier League. The 24-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game as the Hammers shared the spoils at home.
