Ghanaian international Maxwell Boakye has won the top scorer award in the Burkina Faso Premier League. The AS Douanes striker scored 14 goals to secure the golden boot.
The hard-working striker has emerged as potential target for the Burkina Faso national team. Earlier this year, Boakye confirmed talks are ongoing over nationality switch in an interview with Angel TV. His preference remains Ghana for now.
He is also attracting interest from several clubs on the African continent following explosive campaign with AS Douanes.
