Defending Champions of the Premier League Manchester City are ready to make an £80 million bid to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United during the January transfer window.

According to a report by Fichajes, Guardiola’s side is desperate to sign an attacker to strengthen Man City and the radar is on Mohammed Kudus. The 24-year-old recently returned from a five-game ban and was on the scoresheet against Brighton in West Ham’s 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

After an excellent debut performance with the Hammers last season, Kudus has attracted offers from Liverpool, Newcastle United and Chelsea. Manchester City is experiencing a torrid campaign, having lost nine out of 12 games played.

After a difficult start to the season, Kudus has scored three times for West Ham in 14 appearances in the ongoing season.
