Konigsdorffer Scores His 9th Goal Of The Season To Secure Victory For Hamburger SV

Konigsdorffer made it two for the home side in the match day 19 fixture. His second goal in consecutive games inspired a 3-2 win for his side at the Olympiastadion on Saturday night.

German forward David Selke scored the opening goal of the match as he put the visitors ahead in the 23rd minute with an assist from Czech midfielder Adam Karabec.

Konigsdorffer was brought on in the 55th minute to replace Selke. Six minutes later, he doubled the advantage for Hamburger with a stunning strike after connecting a pass from Jean-Luc Dompe.

French midfielder Mickael Cuissance pulled one back for Hertha in the 72nd minute before Marten Winkler levelled the scoreline after a few moments.

Hamburger claimed the victory six minutes from time after Kosovan forward Emir Sahiti restored their advantage in the game.

Konigsdorffer is in some good form with 9 goals and an assist in 18 appearances.
