GHANAIAN INTERNATIONAL KWABENA OWUSU JOINS HUNGARIAN SIDE ZALAEGERSZEG FC

Ghanaian international Kwabena Owusu has penned a six month contract with Hungarian side Zalaegerszeg FC, aiming to improve the team’s attacking options.

The 26-year-old forward comes in with rich experience, having played for several clubs in Europe notably, Real Oviedo, Leganés, Cartagena, Salamanca, and Córdoba.

His success continued in Azerbaijan with Qarabağ FK, where he won the league title, followed by championship victories in Turkey with Ankaragücü and Hungary with Ferencváros.

On the international stage, Owusu last played for Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations having made his debut in a friendly against South Africa the same year.

Zalaegerszeg FC, renowned for their resilience and their 2002 Hungarian Cup triumph, is counting on Owusu’s experience and attacking quality to help the team climb the league standings and achieve its goals this season.
