The Ghana Football Association delivered Nissan Navara pickup trucks to eight Regional Football Association under the FIFA Forward program. The Regions included Brong Ahafo, Upper West, Central, Western, Eastern, Upper East, Volta, and Ashanti. Each region received a double-cabin pickup to support administrative and operational activities.
The Greater Accra and Nothern Region are expected to receive their vehicles in a subsequent roll out program. The ceremony was attended by GFA Executive Council and the Acting Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority, Mr. Abraham Amaliba.
The initiative according the the GFA this initiative reflects the broader vision of decentralizing football development and ensuring that associations are well equipped.
