Former Ghana Youth international Gideon Mensah has signed for Swedish Club Ljungskile. Mensah mutually parted ways with Varbergs after a brief spell due to injuries.
The defender who was grateful to the supporters of the club opened up on his time at the club.
he said, “I want to thank everyone at the club, all those who were there when I came and all those who are there now that I’m going. I came here as a boy and left as a man.”
His time at Varbergs may not have worked out as planned due to a series of injuries, but the Ghanaian defender was always a popular favourite among the fans.
He was grateful for the fans’ unwavering belief in him, saying, “To all BoIS fans, it is unfortunate and sad that I have to leave you this way, knowing how much you loved watching me play. Thanks for the good times.”
Gideon Mensah will be looking forward to having a successful spell with his new club.
