Former Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo has been appointed as new head coach of Togolese Club AS OTR in Lome.
This move is a major step in the career of David Ocloo who has predominantly occupied the role of an assistant in a top league.
Ocloo is highly respected for his innovative coaching techniques, which were instrumental in Asante Kotoko’s triumphant Ghana Premier League title-winning campaign during the 2021-22 season.
Additionally, his tenure as an assistant coach at Hearts of Oak saw him contribute significantly to the club’s success in domestic competitions.
Last week, Ocloo tendered his resignation as Kotoko’s assistant coach, a position he held under Prosper Ogum.
