Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed optimism of securing a win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The two most successful clubs will renew their rivalry at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to the media, Ogum expressed his outfit is poised for battle against Hearts of Oak.
“The mentality at training with the players, technical staff and everyone is very positive and we are very poised. Tactically, we are approaching the game based on how we’ve seen them play especially in their away games”
“The dynamics are different in games between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. We are very hopeful as technical staff. The players are prepared physically, tactically and psychologically for the match” he said.
Kotoko return to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League with a 2-0 win over Aduana Football Club and will be hoping for a win to maintain their run.
Asante Kotoko are currently seventh on the Premier League standings with 18 points while Heart of Oak lie sixth with 19 points after 12 matches.
