Joseph Paintsil is set to drop a banger as he seeks to make a mark in music.
The Los Angeles Galaxy star has recruited legendary Ghanaian musician Bisa Kdei and Afrobeat superstar Oxlade on his soon-to-be released song.
The former KRC Genk player has been combining music with his football, but the footballer has yet to release a major hit.
However, with Bisa Kdei and Oxlade confirmed to be on his next project, music lovers and neutrals are anxiously waiting for what could be a hit record.
In a post on social media, Paintsil wrote: “Cooking something special with the big man.”
Bisa Kdei, a multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer, also took to his X account to share the upcoming collaboration.
Paintsil has released a couple of songs with his latest being Blessing, which was performed at LA Galaxy’s victory parade. Before Blessing, he had released Unbreakable, which played on major radio stations in the country.
The 26-year-old is currently on holidays in Ghana after a fruitful first year in the Major League Soccer. The Ghanaian forward scored 14 goals to help the LA club with their sixth championship.
He is expected to return to the United States next week to begin pre-season for the 2025 campaign.
