The Black Stars have touched down in Morocco ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar.
Following a resounding 5-0 win over Chad the team departed on Saturday morning at 10:30 GMT and landed at Acharif Alidrissi Airport in AL Hoceima at 16:16 GMT.
The team was led by Head coach Otto Addo and chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee Dr. Randy Abbey, Vice chairman Stephen Appiah and legendary striker Asamoah Gyan.
Ghana will have to be at their best on Monday to fend off any threat from Madagascar who have been decent in the qualifiers. The Black Stars currently top the standings in Group I with 12 points from 5 games.
All 23 players made the trip in good condition as Ghana prepares for the crucial Group I encounter on Monday, March 24, 2025.
