Black Galaxies midfielder Hafiz Ibrahim remains confident of Ghana’s chance of beating Nigeria to the 3925 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers
The first leg ended in a goalless stalemate in Accra last Sunday, with the winner set to secure a spot in the tournament in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Ibrahim, emphasised that Ghana’s team of locally-based players are not intimidated by their Nigerian counterparts.
“When we go out there and put our best, we know victory will be ours. We are not afraid of anyone. Insha Allah, we are going to qualify for Ghana,” Ibrahim said.
Black Galaxies head coach Mas-ud Dramani has also stated that his team will score in Nigeria.
Ghana aim for back-to-back qualifications after being eliminated at the quarterfinal stage in the last edition.
