Ghana’s CHAN team have arrived in Nigeria ahead of the the second leg match against their West African counterparts.
The two countries battled it out for a 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg. Qualification to the 2025 CHAN tournament. Ghana’s contingent landed safely on Friday morning in Uyo, the capital of Nigeria’s Akwa Inom State.
The match, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2024, has heightened anticipation among football fans.
The match will be played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. local time (16:00 GMT).
Ghana’s head coach, Mas Ud Didi Dramani, has expressed confidence in his squad’s ability to secure a victory.
The Black Galaxies have previously triumphed over Nigeria in the CHAN qualifiers in 2009 and 2023, and a win on Saturday would secure them a third success.
