ASANTE KOTOKO THROUGH TO THE MTN FA CUP ROUND 32 STAGE WITH A WIN OVER FUTURE STARS

Asante Kotoko crowned their return to the Babayara Sports Stadium with a 2-0 win over Future Stars in the MTN FA Cup (Round 64)

The porcupine warriors opened the scoring through goal monger Albert Amoah in the second half with a clean finish after latching on to Saaka Duada’s strike in the 65th minute.

Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum started the game with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Captain Justice Blay was replaced by Kyei Dwamena after picking up a knock after first half.

Kotoko made it two after missing  flurry of chances. Emmauel Antwi was tne biggest culprit. Albert Amoah made it two with a long range shot in the 86th minute as they eased through to the round of 32.
