ASANTE KOTOKO KNOCKS OUT ACCELEZ8 FROM THE MTN FA CUP

The 2024/2025 MTN FA Cup got off to a great start at the Babayara Sports Stadium where Accelez8 faced Asante Kotoko. Kwame Poku cooly drilled in the opener from the spot in the 43rd minute after Saaka Dauda was brought down. The home side went into the breaks very dissapointed failing to take the game to Kotoko.

Back from recess, division 2 side Accelez8 kept Asante Kotoko at bay with high ball retentional play coupled with poor finishing by Kwame Poku. Center back Henry Ansu ended any possibility of a come back from the home side with a powerful free kick sending Kotoko to the  round of 16.

Accelez8 FC despite suffering elimination put in a strong performance against Asante Kotoko who struggled to finish the game after creating several chances.
