Aduana opened the scores in the 31st minute, captain Sam Adams rifled in a shot to the host a well-deserved lead.

Hearts of Oak sought for the equalizer with second-half substitutions, Yahaya, Boateng, Oppong Afrane, and Karikari were subbed on to inject bite in the attacking third for the away side.  Strong defending kept them at bay.

Their lack of cutting edge in attack put the game beyond their reach.

Aduana sealed the victory late in the game when Ivorian forward Abdel Latif Bamba, introduced in the 78th minute, scored with a clinical finish in the 88th minute to make it 2-0.

The win lifts Aduana further away from the relegation zone and reinforces their dominance at home over the Phobians

The defeat leaves Hearts of Oak with only two wins in their last eight matches
