New Black Stars assistant coach Desmond Ofei has stressed that he is ready to do his best in assisting head coach Otto Addo to excel.
Following his successes with the Ghana U20 male national team, coach Ofei has been assigned another role to assist coach Otto Addo.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the March international break, the young but highly rated Ghanaian tactician indicated that he wants to work hard in his capacity as an assistant coach of the Black Stars.
“My role is quite simple. My role is to assist the head coach as best as I can. So for me, it’s about hard work and supporting in any level as possible and in any area that we feel like we need to improve on. So for my side, it’s about hard work and helping the head coach as best as I can,” coach Desmond Ofei told the media team of the Ghana FA in an interview.
Coach Desmond Ofei’s first assignment with the Black Stars will be in the upcoming March international break where Ghana is scheduled to play against Chad and Madagascar in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The gaffer has noted that the Black Stars will do their best to secure positive results to make Ghanaians happy.
