Former Black Stars striker, Matthew Amoah wants in form Antoine Semenyo to prioritize staying at Bournemouth than joining Tottenham Hotspurs in the summer.
A number of clubs have expressed interest in Antoine Semenyo who has scored 7 premier league goals this season. With a move likely on the cards, ex-Black stars striker Matthew Amoah is against a move to Tottenham due to Bournemouth’s higher ratings currently.
“With all due respect to Tottenham, if this is the only offer that comes to Antoine Semenyo this summer, then he should stay at Bournemouth. Bournemouth are currently a better team on the pitch than Tottenham and seem more stable with a very good coach in Andoni Iraola. So, joining a club that is far behind would be a demotion that makes no football sense”
Fans will be eager to find out if Semenyo will buy Amoah’s advice in the summer. Semenyo’s stock has risen after stellar campaigns from last season till date.
