Mfanstipim Senior High School picked up a resounding win at the 2025 Central Region Super-Zonals Competition. Their dominance started from day one with sprinter Joseph Andoh Kwofie who secured gold in both 100m and 200m.
The two-day competition was graced with exceptional performances by Portia Ama Nkrumah of Edinaman Senior High and Jonathan Ofori Nkrumah of Mfanstipim Senior High School. The two were adjudged best athlete in theiir respective division.
The “Gyama” bit of the competition was strongly felt in the stands and on the tracks. The rivalry between Mfantsipim, Adisadel College and Saint Augustines was renewed by sheer determination, passion and strength propelling athletes in their quest to outpace each other.
Mfanstipim placed first in the boy’s division with 116 points. Adisadel College came 2nd with 107.5 points whilst Saint Augustines finished 3rd with 86 points. Efutu Senior High School came 1st with 145 points. Edinaman Senior High School were 1st runner up with 83 points whereas Kwanyarko SHTS finished 3rd with 76.5 points.
