Former Black Starlets head coach, Laryea Kingston has announced his readiness to return to the national team. He believes he is in pole position to attain higher heights if given the opportunity.

I feel ready to reach the top with the senior national team. My strengths have evolved from developmental to management. I understand how to manage both individual players and the group as a whole if given the opportunity, I’m ready. Even today, if I receive a call to support any of the national teams, I’m more than willing to return because that’s what I want to do

Laryea’s comments signals growth and patriotism, one that clears the air on purported tension and enmity with the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Laryea Kingston shockingly resigned as head coach of the Black Starlets during the 2024 under-17 Wafu Zone B African Cup of Nation qualifiers citing interference and threats from the GFA as reasons.
