Hearts of Oak Secret Signing Revealed Abdul Aziz Adam

Accra Hearts of Oak shockingly pulled of a surprise in the just ended January transfer window by signing striker Abdul Aziz Adam from division one side Tamale City.

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara in a closed door discussion revealed he did not need a striker despite the short comings of his forwards in front of goal this season. Hamzah Issah who was a revelation last season with 13 premier league goals has so far registered only 4 goals in the current season. The only candidate who has good numbers in terms of goals is Mawuli Wayo.  Hearts of Oak obviously needed augmentation despite Ouattara’s stance.

Abdul Aziz Adam’s inclusion to the Hearts of Oak set up is a step in the right direction. With 9 goals in 11 games for Tamale City in Zone 1 A of the Access Bank Division One League, he certainly has something up his sleeves but considering the standards at Hearts of Oak the power house will certainly need some time to adapt.
