Nora Hauptle according to grapevine source has resigned as head coach of the Black Queens as she closes in on a new appointment.
She is set to take over from embattled Zambia Head coach Bruce Mwape as the Women’s African Cup of Nations (Afcon) beckons.
Nora on her social media handle cited inadequate preparation by the Black Queens as a major concern. The team has not played a single friendly match following their qualification to the 2025 Women’s Afcon. Perhaps this could be the reason for her abrupt resignation.
Nora Hauptle secured Afcon qualification with the Black Queens. Her work ethics and tactical astuteness made her fans favourite.
The Ghana football association is yet to officially react to this news.
