Vision FC versus Hearts of Oak resulted in a 1-1 draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown, the highly anticipated encounter produced thrilling moments.
Hearts of Oak broke the dead lock in the 38th minute, defender Kelvin Osei Asibey pounced to head the opener of the day. Superb goalkeeping and strategic play saw Hearts go into the breaks with a slender lead.
Vision responded rapidly after recess through Meschack Sowah Adjetey, who netted with a beautiful curler just on the penalty box. With the momentum in their hand, the home side played with much confidence rendering Hearts of Oak ineffective.
Substitute Emmanuel Akansase effectively turned the score almost completely in Vision’s favor with his 60th-minute charge, but the low box shot barely brushed against the post and went narrowly wide.
After several attacks from the home side, Hearts of Oak’s Seth Osei weaved his way through the opposition’s defense before goalkeeper Michael Abraham pulled a massive save.
Vision did enough to win all three points, Hearts relentlessness meant they had to share the spoils.
